2024 CMI Board Members

CMI is always seeking new board members. If you have participated in our past conferences, you are already familiar with the benefits of sharing information among your peers in the world of corrections-related facility management.Board members take an active role in planning the events, agendas, and share ideas to improve our yearly conferences. 

CMI is interested in any candidates who wish to devote some of their free time in interacting with this national organization. Candidates who may be interested can contact any board member prior to the conference for more information.

The CMI Membership 

 If you would like to become a CMI Member or Affiliate Member you may download the membership form and (along with your check), mail it to CMI, 13301 Bailey Bridge Rd., Midlothian, VA 23112. You may also pay by all four major credit cards. **Please note that in order to attend the yearly CMI conference you must be a CMI Member, Affiliate Member, or Exhibitor.  

Affiliate membership allows private, for-profit corporations, architects or engineering firms who work in prisons, jails, or county courthouses and whose responsibilities include capital budgeting, planning, design, construction or maintenance of these facilities. The CMI conferences are the primary means for CMI members and affiliates to share information on vendor products, discuss related issues, suggest new products or improve existing products. 

CMI is the only professional organization that deals specifically with facilities-related correctional issues.

Mike Hall, CMI Chairman

Mike joined CMI in October of 2018 and became a part of the board that same year. Currently he serves as Director of Facilities Management for NCDPS which encompasses Maintenance, Telecommunications, Energy and Sustainability, Transportation and Safety. He has over 36 years experience in all aspects of  Facility Maintenance and Construction/Management of staff and budget, Human Resources and Safety Programs.  He hold multiple credentials, licenses and certifications.
